Had them rebuild a TH400 for may 1941 Dodge WC40 Weapons Carrier with modern driveline and frame. I have a 375 HP Ram Jet engine and running 38.5 Boggers with 4:56 gears. Have almost 39,000 miles on it now and not a single issue. Highly recommend them.

Gearstar Performance Transmissions built me a Chevy Turbo 350 Level III transmission with the converter for my 460 hp and 466 torque 383 Chevy motor that is in my 1931 Model A Tudor Sedan. It took me awhile to finish the car. So, the transmission sat for a while. When I was ready to install the engine and transmission it was ready to go. I put in the transmission fluid that was provided and adjusted fluid level with the separate transmission fluid cooler and fan and re-torque the transmission oil pan. I really appreciated that there were no leaks! I used a B&M shifter with the shifter cable that comes out of the back of the shifter. With car on jack stands, I ran the engine and put the transmission through the gears, and it worked as it should. I have driven the car with no issues with the engine or transmission. If you need a very good transmission that is reliable and built for your car, I highly recommend Gearstar! I am a nobody in this industry, but I am a very satisfied customer! When I need another transmission, I will definitely order another one from Gearstar! I apologize; I could not find any pictures of the transmission just the car. I would also like to add the shipping

I canβt begin to take ALL of the credit for this 68 Nova of mine, nor would I dare try and take credit for this beast of a transmission; Gear Star 2004r Stage IV. My 427 stroker pushes 580 HP N/A, this transmission isnβt even phased. With a 2800 stall, Iβm able to make solid launches! What I truly love about this company is not only the solid transmission, but a solid company that backs their product. Customer service is top notch and very responsive. They are easy to talk to and truly want to help. Iβm looking to boost this engine in the future, this transmission has plenty of room to accommodate for the power! If your in the market for a transmission for your hot rod or muscle car, You will not regret going Gear Star

Had a fantastic experience working with Gearstar Performance from start to finish. Zach, Ryan and team helped me spec out a 4L60E rated for my 383 build in my 92 Camaro. The team was able to produce the transmission with the tail house provision for the torque arm to mount. When we went to install the new Gearstar Transmission it went in perfectly where the 700R4 had previously been mounted without any modifications. With the new transmission installed, my Camaro is going through the gears flawlessly. This was a huge upgrade! Highly recommend Gearstar.

I recently purchased a Chevrolet 4L65E Level 4 Performance Transmission from GearStar for my 1968 Camaro restomod project, pairing it with a 500 HP LS3. GearStar helped me select the ideal Yank converter stall speed basedon my specs, and their technical support was outstanding throughout the process. Any hiccups along the way were quickly resolved. I worked directly with Ryan on many of the details, and I can confidently say this is a very well-built transmission. Initially, I was hesitant about working with an out-of-state company, but that concern quickly faded. GearStar was easy to reach and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. I chose a Holley ECU to control both the engine and transmission, and GearStar was able to configure the transmission ICF based on my setup. This was my first time using an electronic transmission in one of my restorations, and their expertise made it easy. The transmission arrived securely crated with a high-quality cooler included to keep everything happy. With a bit of fabrication, I was able to fit the cooler into my buildβno small feat considering the RS grille with hideaway headlights on the '68 Camaro has very little clearance!
